Local organizations team up to host holiday pet food drive
Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, CenterPoint Energy and Houston SPCA will host a holiday pet food drive from Nov. 30 to Dec. 14.
Dog and cat food can be donated at Houston SPCA’s location at 900 Portway Drive from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, located at 3217 Montrose Blvd., from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
Donations can also be made from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, at the following CenterPoint Energy locations:

The aniMeals on Wheels program was started four years ago so that homebound seniors on Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston program would not have to share their limited food and resources with their pets.
